The founders were frustrated by the lack of healthy food options that they set out on a quest to develop a range of ultra-premium dog and cat foods that contain no by-products, fillers or preservatives. From there, they developed a range of premium protein sources to prevent allergies, while retaining its natural goodness in a convenient form.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

We feel a tremendous responsibility for our planet which we call home. That’s why we are one of the only few pet food companies that actively participate in the green movement. As part of our eco-friendly philosophy, Addiction and our suppliers procure kangaroos and brushtails, which are known to be major agricultural pests. This is an alternative way of sourcing novel meats other than traditional farming of meat sources that contribute to deforestation and destruction of our ozone layer. But shrinking the carbon footprint of our food production is not enough for us.


As we embrace the need for sustainability and ethical practices, we’ve also joined forces with organizations like Monterey Bay Seafood Watch to advocate sustainable fishing methods and hopefully inspire greater change in a deeper level.
